the teachers are so concerned--they called me this evening to report the spells are increasing in intensity and today her body went stiff during one of the spells---shes unresponsive during these spells to name calling.....waving their hand in front of her face..physical touch and finger snapping---she wore head phones(snug ones that libraries use minus the cord) in the noisy cafeteria today to tone down the noise and still had one of these spells--she also appears to be sleepy/sluggish all the time anymore---she goes to bed at 7:30 PM and doesn't get up till 6:30 am ---they also have been allowing her a small nap at school from which she doesn't want to wake from---after these staring spells her tone is limp and she acts exhausted and hard for her to get back on task---she was also very emotional today at school and crying because she forgot how to make a 2---her speech seems somewhat of a slur--she used to say words so clearly example--now she says colee for color and some of her words seem to run together and hard to understand---I guess I just needed to get all this out and have a good cry--the pediatrician wants to wait on the neuro appointment to see what he thinks--I know the 24th of April isnt too far off but it seems like months to me right now---the pediatrician also said the neuro she will see on the 24th is a developmental specialist---if he sees any areas of concern he will probably send her to a regular neuro--WTF

lil update
We checked Angel out of school today and took her to the ped around 2:30---she promised to do a bunch of blood work next week before she goes to the neuro on the 24th so we will have the results with us and let him know what can be ruled out---things I want ruled out are anemic and dibetes(runs on my side of the family) and thyroid disease(also runs on my side of the family)

Me and Nee Nee were talking on the phone last night and discussing how she wasnt eating as much as usual at school and if she did have sugar regulation problems she could bottom out and feel sluggish---she had an idea that we could send a soda to school with her today to see if it helped---usually there is no sodas allowed at school but her teacher was sweet enough to allow it to see if it made a difference---when I went to pick Angel up at 2:15 I asked how her day went--she said great--she did fine--like the old Angel---I reported this to the ped who completely blew it off saying soda had nothing to do with sugar

I am keeping a log of everything the school sees as well as what we see at home to take with us to the neuro---and hopefully we will have the blood -*test*-('") results back by that time as well

thats it for now--thanks for reading
