The school called this morning---they are working on Angels IEP for next year and I am so sad right now---instead of the inclusion classroom they feel its best to place her in a special ed classroom where there will be around 6 to 8 kids a teacher and an aide----in the 1st grade inclusion class she would have been expected to sit in her desk and do her work without any help with verbal reminders to stay on task with the staring spells shes been having at school and her SID issues she is starting to regress and they think the special ed class with the option to mainstream at a later date is the best placement
I know in my heart she needs this extra help with verbal reminders and with her work--with just about anything related to school really-but I am just soooo sad for her right now--had to get this out before the school bus runs
