For those who dont know..a little background--Angel had a severe oral aversion--lots of puking--fed with a medicine dropper--couldnt tolerate solids until she was almost 4 years old--problems with self feeding skills and lack of appetite

Update
trying different foods now--not alot but more accepting and trusting that it wont be a bad experience--self feeding with only verbal cues to keep her attention on eating--going to the fridge by herself when shes hungry to get a snack which makes me so very happy(I didnt think we would EVER see that day!!!!)

New foods she has tried
decided peanut butter is her friend(wants to lick it from spoon though--still wont eat it on bread )
fried squash--liked it
tater tots--loved them
salad(was a big no go )
country ham(tolerated but not a big fan)
any kind of cheese!!!!
grilled cheese
ramen noodles
pizza (she picks the toppings off though )
peaches,pears,mandarin oranges,applesauce (only from a can--doesnt like fresh)
bananas--a big no go
white or yellow cake with icing!!!!!

this kids will not eat foods that are touching--she gags at the thought of it---thats why she picks off the toppings of her pizza--has to eat out of a sectioned plate so her food doesnt run together etc...--thats next on the list of things to do but we are just so proud of how far she has come---she amazes me

those are in addition to what she was eating(we were stuck on her preferred foods for a long time)

I hope this gives some of you with feeding issues a little hope for what the future holds--hang in there-it gets better with time and patience
