An alternative to the nebulizer unit. They're called holding chambers - basically its a tube with a hole for the inhaler on one end and a face mask on the other end. Put the inhaler in one end and hold the mask up to the face - give one puff and hold the mask in place for 6 breathes. Then repeat if needed if additional puffs are prescribed. The whole process takes about 2-3 mintues. This sure beats heck out of doing the nebulizer treatments a 15-20 minute process. Plus no noisy machine and only weekly cleanup.
