Angels GI appointment/topic copied

Ok--since school started she has lost 2 pounds--arrrrg and regressed in her eating--double arrrrg

He wrote the school a note for an adult to set with Angel at breakfast and lunch and give verbal cues---and for her to have carnation instant breakfast at school

We also found out that the doc(at klugee) that wrote the px for already made carnation instant breakfast in a can for medicaid to pay for had no idea what he was doing cause medicaid wont pay unless she has a feeding tube in place

We have to keep weight checks on her to email the GI

Go back in 6 months

We try not to get too obsessive and have her weighed only at her appointments but the GI wants us to buy a digital scale and do weight checks and email it to him---those who think a kid wouldnt starve themselves has never met my kid

its so hard to get understanding if someone hasnt been there though---they go on things based on how their child ate and I have even heard--dont worry about today cause she will make up for it tomorrow--NOT Angel preemiegroup/shrugs.gif
