Angel started getting Friday evening. Throwing everything up, poor little bit couldn't keep anything down
We ended up in the emergency room Saturday with her. Sat there for 5 hours waiting to get back to see the doctor only for them to say viral infection and send her home. It was an ER trip from heck. They were so impatient with her and the girl drawing blood acted like she got upset because we insisted she wear gloves . They kept talking about how busy they were but they must not have been too busy standing around the nurses station talking/laughing etc... for an hour while my poor little girl was running back and forth to the bathroom with dry heaves.
Monday she had a ped appointment where the viral infection was confirmed. She has lost another pound. Down to 45 pounds (but she has been ). The ped agreed that instead of taking away the ADHD patch we should start by bulking up calories first. The Daytrana patch has helped her sooo much with her focus at school and we dont want to take that away before trying to bulk up her foods. So back to calorie counting and adding butter,whipping cream,ensure and scandical. Fingers crossed and please send some weight gain vibes her way
She missed school Monday and tuesday because she's , she may miss tomorrow as well. She is eating and keeping it down now but still laying around alot.
